Employee Spotlights
Mike, who works at our Colorado Springs location, is a veteran Air Force pilot with 20 years in the sky. When he’s not at work, Mike is probably painting. (He even has one of his creations hanging in his office.) He treats his creativity as an asset for his role as a program manager.
“I may think in a different way than most pilots or peers. I’d say I think with both my left and right brain, both technically and creatively. It brings something new to the table.”
Ernesto, who has been with ARKA for 10 years, enjoys the sun and beaches that Puerto Rico has to offer, during trips home to visit family and friends. Here he splashes around at one of his favorite beaches, Cueva Del Indio Beach in Arecibo.
Katie designs and facilitates training opportunities for ARKA employees and customers. A former teacher, she transitioned to the aerospace industry in 2022 and is based in Colorado Springs.

ARKA Student Program
We seek the best and brightest at all career levels. Our Student Program provides amazing opportunities to develop skills and gain real-world experience and expertise. We offer spring, fall and year-round internships and co-ops in fields across the company, including engineering, finance and business development.

How do I search for a job at ARKA? What is the hiring process?
When you search for a job at ARKA, we want your journey to be smooth, personal and meaningful! Our 4-step process provides insights into your job journey with us.
STEP 1: Search ARKA Careers and Apply
Complete our online application and submit your resume. Ensure that your resume is updated and provides our recruiters and hiring managers accurate and complete information about you as an applicant.
STEP 2: Resume Review and Interview Stage
If there are interest and a fit for the position, an ARKA recruiter will reach out via email or telephone and provide information on the next steps in the process.
The recruiter will schedule a preliminary interview via phone or video (Teams, Zoom). Since each job is different, the recruiter will outline this process when they contact you. After the preliminary interview, a follow-up onsite interview or video interview may be scheduled.
STEP 3: Background Check
After the interviews are completed and the hiring manager expresses interest in welcoming you to the ARKA team, you will receive a conditional job offer.
Following a successful background check and any other screenings, you will be formally offered a role on our team.
STEP 4: Time to Start!
If you make it to this final step… good news! We establish a start date. Congratulations and welcome to the ARKA team!
